What are the goals of your students’ organization?
We found our Association in 2013 and we try to connect all students in our Republic.
Our first project was Summer Physio Camp for PT students in the Czech Republic just for a weekend. It was in Czech language and it consisted of lectures, workshops and entertainment. There were about 25 students from 5 different faculties. We organized the same event in winter and we try to hold these events every year.
Our second project is called PhysioCafé. We were inspired by ScienceCafé and MediCafé. We invite a specialist to present students his (or her) work and as the title suggests this event take place in some café. Each lector has prepared a topic, he presents it and you can ask him whatever you want during the discussion. This event repeats every month.
Our goals:
• To connect and represent the Czech physiotherapy students in Czech Republic and in the world.
• To organize educational and social events for PT students.
• To detect the problems and improve teaching.
• To arrange international internships for students.
